Well after falling victim to the outside world (it aint all that interesting after all...) and getting myself some meds methinks is time to get back into the 3D scene...

After realizing I could make Morrowind mods with it, I found my million year old copy of 3D max3 (4 was there too but it belonged to the school and not the Tec who gave me the backup of it to play with) and thus I only have 11 days left using that untill... erm... I dunno, it self destructs or something mebe?? O_o

Meh, either way, since I'm going to be making 3D stuffz (I hope) I decided I should try to bring this page back to life and display anything I eventually make here. Lets just hope making simple things is as easy as it was in Anim8or (tho probably less time-consuming).

Weird, I just caught the end of a film clip in which the entire audience of 20-30 people were in fur-suites

Anywho, I recently got a copy of Maya... and if I'm lucky it may even work
And if I can find about a billion How-To things on it I may even be able to do the exact same things I can already do in Anim8or

Actually, the plan is to learn how to use it so I can go from spending like 20-30 hours on one model to only spending a few on it   This should thus result in more updates to my somewhat neglected gallery. If I can get enthused enough to finish my model of Prosts head I may then work on something else adventurous that I was planning... tho I have this horrible feeling that I may have to stick with anim8or for the moment till I can work out how to make nasty shapes in Maya (Just how exactly am I suppose to make Eye-sockets? )

And the award for being the biggest Australian bone-head goes to...

I finally get to meet 2 people from online, and what do I do? I turn up 1/2 an hour late   and then ramble like a twit for several minutes   

oh yes, and it decided to throw a thunderstorm at us at the very same moment too   


Tho on the up side I did get to meet them, and I also finally got some software...
So now I can sell my soul to the evil that is Ragnarok Online

Well I finished "The Sword of Talaris" not long ago (I'll let P0st throw the links at Drakkolupen if he wants to ). Now to upload some pics of it...

Also, the wonderfully skilled artist ChouchoChan (A friend of a friend ) has drawn with surprising speed another pic of Orion and Kitsune. Orion is a Belfazar, A creature I thought up once long ago (the original pic is in my gallery here), while I am a self-confessed Kitsune addict (Those little yellow multi-tailed foxes are so cute ^_^ )

Well I got off my butt and did some more work In Anim8or (Version 0.85 is simular to 0.65, but 8 appears to have better colour rendering amoungst the several odd new options...)

Instead of "The Sword of Talaris" which I was planning on doing soon as a quick project, I decided to work on my Naga head some more. I finally got the eyes in, and while the snout still looks a little too flat (some fiddling with mesh later should fix that) I'm quite proud of how the Eyes have turned out (It is my first face after all ). I also changed the drab Grey to a more orangish colour that looks a bit better for the short-term, tho I'll do some proper re-colouring when I've finished the head  

Well thats enough of 3D snake-boy for tonight, tho if I do become enthused I might make some of that sword later on...
